one last gasp of wonderfulness before snow.....

we're going back to the Lodge!

see this thread.

we have tentatively held 10 rooms at East Bay Lodge for the TADP, but

you will have to make your own reservations with the Lodge

the phone number is shown above. Let Randy or Lorrie know you're with Troy Dogs.

ATTENTION: YES, we know it's HALLOWEEN weekend. More about that later, but I want to point that out before you make your reservation.

space is limited- if you get a room, you're in! Once you have a room reserved, go ahead and RSVP here.
There will be walkies and massages...

update 10/14: Randy says if you plan to walk in the woods, you need to plan to wear something HUNTER ORANGE. Available everywhere right now; a hat, a vest- something.

update 10/17: for pampering yourself---- book a massage!

update 10/26: 10am Saturday Walk
6:30 pm pizza dinner
8:00pm Canine Costume Contest

Thanks to all those that attended and made an unforgettable event. Congrats to Pink Floyd, 3 Amigos, Great Pumpkins, Lil Devil, Hippies, Rott-Lobster for making the costume contest a huge hit. Next time we leave bones on the pillow instead of mints, we'll be sure to lock the doors so the treat thief cannot strike again!

I was sooooooooooooooo excited about coming. The lodge sounds awesome. But while in NY I fell off of a one of NY's finest buses and well....a sprained, swollen ankle.

I did want to come but all the rooms are booked through. Cabins are available but they are bigger n more expensive than we need. I soooo wish I could attend the fun time this weekend. Joey would have loved it. If any other couple are in the same situation, we would love to split the occupancy n rates of a cottage with them. Do let me know in case anybody is willing.

Do the dog need something orange also? should we be worried about the dogs? What else do we need to bring? Are we getting a special rate on the room for the group? I have heard so many contradicting stories about the weekend. Can someone please post everything we need to know like the room rates, what we are doing for food, are the rooms first come first served or are they reserved based on when you called? Are there activities we are going to do as a group?

Ok people, I'm taking a poll: Trivial Pursuit, Cranium, Monopoly or yahtzee?. I can bring any of the above games for evening entertainment when the kids are pooped and sleeping. . .

Paul, myself and Link had a wonderful weekend. It was well organized. Lodge and location were just great. Planned just enough events to make it fun but restful. Had some great laughs. Enjoyed meeting everyone. Very impressed on how well behaved all the dogs were. Would like to thank all of you who were thoughtful enough to bring up food to share Saturday afternoon after our walk. Hope we can all do this again soon.
